Texas and Other States Petition to Secede from U.S.

  • Gotta love us Texans!  Apparently we've collectively decided to petition to, "Peacefully grant the State of Texas to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government".  Most of this is sucker throwing and dirt kicking since Obama won the election--Texas majority vote was for Romney--but who would've thought?

Now, we've conjured up 20 more states to follow us into the promise land!!  Another civil war, perhaps.

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/video/secession-petitions-grow-president-obamas-election-17709379

I've put this here as a rave, simply because it takes fucking balls (especially in this day and age) to say that "we're not happy so we're gonna make our own fucking rules!".  Hell yeah!

Your Democratic pea-brained self doesn't quite fit that puny state than, does it?
Think you'd be better off in New Mexico, Chonga.

    Didn't matter, Obama WINS!:

Guess your gonna be getting your ass kicked outta Texas, now that there's hype about succeeding and cries of "Civil War," now aren't you... :D

Can hear the screams now .... "Go love Your president somewhere else!"  ::)

Actually, Louisiana started petitioning for Succession first, this time around. Your job is to flip flop sides and go with Texas majority ideals and follow.

  • Typical troller, apparently every post is an opportunity--huh...  If you'll re-read my post again genius, you'll see that I wasn't swayed one way or another, I simply found this an interesting movement against mainstream public complacency.

Think you'd be better off in New Mexico, Chonga.

It would probably be Alaska because I hear that employers up there accept home school diplomas like an Associates Degree due to the lower education levels of the median population (and you're posts).

I doubt it.  One thing about Texas is that when we finally get off our asses and act, the belief in the State takes precedent. ~and no that wasn't President misspelled.

Oh, you finally decided to contribute, why thank you.  ::)  While you may be correct, only Texas currently has enough signatures to actually get a response from Washington, so Louisiana is irrelevant.

You'll notice the attached image is a seal on our capitol building floor that lists all the countries which Texas has seceded from, including the US....

Guess if that's the way your backwoods ass heard it, than you'd fit right in.
Seeing as you're quite gutless, the bears roaming free here would scare you back to momma Texas, post haste.

  • Not to feed further into your trolling, I would like to point out this is ever-changing with 3-4 states that now have the required amount of signatures.  Texas, however, is still on top...(ironicly you left that point out)

    https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/peacefully-grant-state-texas-withdraw-united-states-america-and-create-its-own-new-government/BmdWCP8B

The truth of the matter, which you've obviously missed, is that this is very interesting development.  I'm neither for or against, but  enjoy seeing change.  Unlike you I don't have the option to live off the government.

I'm hopeful that new members reading this realize that "mini-me" responding to me in this thread is not conducive to normal discussion--only on flaming sites.  This is apparently a sore spot for him.  :'(

OH, “My state is Best”…you’re such a little girl.

Either the petitioner collects the 25,000 signatures to have Government officials review the petition or they don’t. Not that anything is going to come of it anyways, another unsuccessful plea for action to the President You voted into office and now you so proudly stand behind a state that didn’t want him. You state you’re neither for nor against this matter yet your clit pops off the screen every time the word Texas is read.
Texas should have more sigs in this matter than Louisiana as we are talking a population difference of 4 million to 25 million… you do the math, brainchild.

Well, then move your broke ass to a state where you can make that dream of yours come true.
I hear Rhode Island has some great opportunities for Wal-mart greeters and they voted for Obama…
    Perfect for you.

I love how you attempt to explain me away…on a site where you’re suppose to be able to state your opinion on anything, in any way you would like. Yet you find it necessary to talk down to new members, in fear I might chase them away, as you’re the keeper of what’s “Normal?”

They only thing normal to you is your own opinion and the many ways you want to twist it to make you feel that you’re in the right…hence you backing both Obama and Texas in these Succession cries.

Yes, well when you finally decide to "state your opinion" about the topic rather than dry humping my ankles, please feel free to do so.

  •  :D Good luck Texas! I'm pretty sure the rest of the country wouldn't mind if you fucked off. I'm actually a bit surprised ya weren't asked to leave...

This separation shit is nothing new, over here we had Quebec try to separate, but of course it was a big fat fail.

  • It's not going to haaaaaaappen. Look at it this way: there are people in that state who don't want to be a different country. Even if they tried, the US Army has all of the manpower and money to win any war that would happen if they tried.

  • Very likely rit will neve happen.  But they have every right to try! This country was founded by people who were looking to seceed from Enlgand.

I personally find it very fascinating,  it at least shows that some people are beginning to wake up. I hope more wake up before it is completely too late. Our country is being run into the ground, money is printed with no backing, people are entitled and encouraged to live off the government, bail outs keep happening and honest politicians are shut out of the news and media all together.

  • I think a civil war is coming sooner rather than later. You cannot keep giving half the population a pass and expecting an ever decreasing minority to pay for their middle class lifestyle.

This is just the first step in that regard, there will come a time when there are too many in the wagon and not enough pulling to keep up with the social spending that is going on right now.
